The words will be capitalized and hidden in the website and also in every email they sent to you

Usually there capitalized in the articles but I find most of my words in the newsletter's and there is always 300 point words :D But they do have a contest running on the site that if you submit a story it's worth 1000 points how awesome is that!!!

No, it's really a waste of time unless you actually read the content on the sites. The rewards are hardly worth anything (the street price on most items is no more than $5-$10), and it takes a long time to get a decent amount of points. It may take only 15 minutes a day to check all of the newsletters and scour the sites for codes, but if you consider how many days it takes... Usually at least a few months for some of the better prizes (100k+ points). Getting a job that pays minimum wage would be a much better use of your time.

Exactly it's free!! and I think it's fun, if you want to payfor thiings go ahead no ones stopping you. Plus they put new prizes up all the time. I believe the prizes are getting better. I like the site so I am still going to keep posting here. :D

On March 15th at 10am PDT our database had to be restored from a backup file that was taken on March 14th at 2am PDT, rolling back all point totals to that time. Any orders made during that time, may not be viewable on your history, but will still be sent as usual.

This does not effect any contest participants - all points awarded for entries have been accounted for.

Any word claims during that period however, will be effected. So to make up for this, and the overall inconvience of the issue, we are awarding a keyword worth 3500 points: MUCHTHANKS

This should restore all lost points, and give a little extra. :) Thank you so much for your pateince and understanding.

In other news , we expect to launch a new version of our website in April, which will include some great new features like search by point cost for prizes.

I cannot find any of those words....I must be doing something wrong...all I find is words on the main page of the newsletters that are good for one week, or words that have expired in March. What am I doing wrong. I have subscribed to every newsletter I could, but they don't come every day.

I log in to the pointsandprizes size every day, randomly find a word here and there.

Could someone give me a hint as to where these hidden daily words are?

I logged in today to the site, it says you can only claim 3 words per hour now. I did not have to select a source.

Can someone help me out, I am new to this and would appreciate it.

I have over 60,000 points and i went to redeem something today. I should have around 20,000 points left but now it says I have -40,000 points!

I'm in the -40 000's too. I started a session with -46000 some-odd pts and didn't even notice the minus sign until it appeared my score was going down instead of up... :lol:

I have all my points but am having a hard time finding hte easter egg words that actually work. The easter egg words are in the forums(incase you did not know) but all the forums I go to and find words in htey do not work. But all the old words are working. I dont get points and prizes sometimes.

It's strange - before the update to the site, I couldn't enter any words that had expired but now I can enter any word (earlier today) that have shown up in the past and I didn't have a limit of words I can enter.

They must be still updating the system, maybe the new words I've entered today won't count but so far my balance is pretty high.

I just emailed P & P and they told me that they were changing something on the site and that there were bugs that they didn't expect but they said everything will be running smoothly on Monday so no need to worry. the word they have found are not egg words. To find them you have to go to message board on she knows. And there are 5 others hidden on the other sites. Also to get words you have to sign up for the newsletters.

I have searched the message boards, and am wondering, do you need to search every message every day? how do you identify the word ? is it in points and prizes symbol ? I do find some eggs.

I am just asking for help, because the way I am doing it doesn't seem to be the easiest way.

I realize this may not be rocket science, but with the word lists being so wonderfully long, its easy to get lots of duplicates (or sore fingers from typing). Here's what I did (in case any of you find it helpful) ...
1)copied my list of claimed words from the points & prizes site (ctrl c)
2)pasted in Excel (ctrl v) and sorted column alphabetically
3)Then for each new list on rfd i copy (ctrl c again), and paste into the same excel sheet, but with the words in BLUE, & then re-sort
4) this wasy I can see the duplicates, and also use the "copy" feature for each word I want to claim in points & prizes, without having to re-type it (u may have to erase the "points" beside some of the words before entering

Hope this helps someone with a lot of words to type (and if u think my process "sucks", please be kind ... I'm a newbie - LOL)

lol I did manage to get them all typed in yesterday. Lots of work.

I kind of did that copy, put in excel spreadsheet, sort in alphabetical order, too. That way I could eliminate duplicates. But my kids (15yr boy & 16yr girl) where looking at me weird evertime they walked by me, looking at my lists, and yellow hiliter...haha...keeps them guessing.

They're really obvious. I've been going through their forums post by post to find the few I've been able to post. It really is a lot of work, especially if you get distracted and actually start reading the posts.

On the left side of the P&P page, click on the "contest" banner, the click on "Easter Egg Hunt". Then you have to just go through the list until you find your name.

Now that I don't have a chance of getting big scores in the egg hunt, and we are getting ready for the flower hunt in May, I have a question.

I have asked before but no one answered me.

I don't want you to give me the words, I just what to know......do you find easter eggs in the Message Boards of She Knows only? I haven't seen any eggs in message board message in any of the partner sites. I have seen them on the bottom of the page, or on the side, but not actually in a message. Is this correct?

Did they appear then disappear because I am 2500 points behind the leader in the Easter Egg hunt and have no idea where the other eggs are and have spent countless hours searching. So I am thinking they appeared then disappeared...anyone know?

Sometimes you'll find that the confirmation email ended up in your junkbox...check there too.

I ordered when I got 10,000 points last June - a book to help prepare for my daughter's wedding and did not get it. After many many emails to them and getting thoroughly disgusted with the run around I was getting ... they were having problems with this or with that, etc. Finally about two months ago they sent me a word that was worth 10,000 points (with a warning that if the word got out to others I would lose the points).

By the time I got my points, my daughter's wedding was planned ... now, we are in the last weeks before the wedding which is July 14!

Now I am looking for something special that if I don't get it right away it won't make any difference.

I also had problems with not receiving the prize I ordered. I emailed them several times over the period of about 8 months and would get a response of we'll look into it or the site is having problems right now, etc. Finally I told them that I had tried so long that I was to the point of sharing their track record with others and advising that they are not dependable, etc. Anyway, soon after that I got a word to enter to credit the points back to me.

I now enter, but don't get upset if I miss some as well ... I figure if I get something great, but until I find something I would like I am continuing to add points!

I have found that I have to wait until an hour passes, not the hour mark.

Also, the words that have no expiration date posted prior to June 1 were for previous month's contests and are no longer valid. The only words other than those posted in June without expiration dates that I know about are:
MUCHTHANKS - 3500 Unknown expiration
SHEKNOWSWIN (250) - Nov 28, 2008 expiration date

They resolved the issue. I have lost about 90k of points but they are back.

My points are missing: We have archived many words in the new system and as a result those archived words are not currently showing up in your point totals. No actual data has been lost, it is merely a calculation that we are updating now. Please continue to claim points and I will alert you as soon as the issue is resolved. Thanks! This issue has been resolved.

For each contest, they post different words in their partner websites. You need to find them and claim the word for point. The top 3 finders win extra points. Do you mean you started on page one & tried entering all the words up to page 4 but none worked? If that's the case, then you're really wasting your time -- that was 53 pages and two years ago!!! Words expire so become invalid. You'd be better off working from the last page backwards!

I keep mine both in excel and word. I know of a girl who had over 100,000 points and they 'mysteriously' disappeared. Luckily she kept a spreadsheet of all the words she's claimed (copied and pasted her claimed word list) so she was able to get her points back. I update my claimed list every few days.

Thanks. I was aware of that link but not really sure what benefit there is in knowing this information -- other than I've used it during some logins to check if I've entered my maximum 5 words per hour.

Thanks to this thread, I have 125 words so far for October; 947 since starting June 9 and have not yet redeemed any points for anything -- the lists are way to long to look through! -- I have over 152,000 points.

I get the saem end result just by starting to type the word in the 'claim word" box --if it's something you've already entered, it comes up! No need to spend time keeping a separate list. In fact, that's often how I check "reposts". Besides, if you type in a word that you've already used or an incorrect word, it doesn't affect your 5 words/hour limit.

True and good point...I guess there are just times that someone will list a ton of words I already have and maybe there are one or two that I don't...it's nice to have a list to check it against...but I definitely see your point in not taking the time!! I guess it's the OCD in me shining through!

it has to be your own creation, I have other pics of mine in the day time too but only pic per entry and they will verify if its a copy right infringement it says in the terms. it doesn't say it has to be this year though.

Depends on what they have in stock--if you're ordering material that has been up on the site for awhile...then that stuff doesn't come in such a good condition. That was my experience anyways. Yes, the bar code may be scratched off...or marked up with a marker.

Also, it depends on how the person "feels" before the mail it out. I've received things that look nicely packaged, and in perfect condition when it arrived. Other times, it came squished, mangled, etc. BUT not broken.

It's all about chance and best of luck.
