Looks to me like a 1972 Buick Riviera. (Might be a 73.. hard to see the rear)
The side-pipes are custom..

No idea.. thought it looked somewhat familiar, but the car I was thinking of isn't the one in the picture.

I guess any American car is a POS eh? Saleen S7, Corvette C5R, etc. the nerve some people have.
