has anyone been to a dealer to try and workout a price on one of these?
just the simple IS250 RWD with leather

i'm wondering how much a lease would be on that sucker

Check their website, i doubt u can get it under MSRP at this time. Maybe only a few hudnred bucks discount. As it's only the first yaer of production.

Try starting your negotiations at 3 or 4 percent over CarCostCanada.com, dealer invoice price of $38, 134.00, buddy.

Use the lexus.ca Build feature to price one and just add money as a down payment to get a guideline.

Good luck. Most dealers I spoke to would seem to rather take a kick in the n*ts then go down even 1 dollar on a lease quote on a 2006 vehicle, without that dollar coming from your pocket as down money. CarCostCanada helped me a bit but it wasn't free.

Lexus in Vancouver was really firm on the price, I talked to the sales guy and the best I could get was $1000 off a IS250 awd with luxury package. I just bought a SUV this feb from them too. :(

All Lexus dealers in Ottawa are absolutely firm on the price...full MSRP. I suspect it will be that way for a while.
