motor vehicle liability insurance card - received in mail today

hey folks,

I got my insurance papers in the mail today including a pink sheet with my liability insurance card (to carry in the vehicle)

Anyway my question is that I ended up getting 6, is this a normal practice? Do they generally send a large quantity of these things to people?? i'm only insured on one vehicle, I don't know why i'd need 6 of these little slips.

Yeah I think so, I always get 5 or 6 also. One for your wallet, one for the car, maybe you have other drivers on the policy as well?

Some in case you lose them...
