I think my mouse clicks too much, it's almost a brand new mouse so I dont think WD40 will do the trick. I use my laptop a lot in the library, so I'm afraid I'm bothing people with my clicking. Are there any quiet mouse out there? I dont need the fastest response time and highest resolution, as this is just for stuff like research and web browsing. :)

My mx700 clicks but it doesn't make a sound...
My new Logitech G5 however, does make a audible click..
I guess my mx700 was worn down, so no clicking sound.

My Logitech V500 notebook mouse has to the loudest mouse on the market. The clicking noise is loud enough to wake up a sleeping person. Even though it has a solid state scroll wheel (sort of like the one on the touchpad), it still make a loud scrolling noise to replicate the sound that a scroll wheel would make. It's a great mouse, but if you want quiet, stay away from this one.

I have this mouse, and now that I think about it, it does have a rather loud click. My trackpoint makes no noise though so when I'm in the library I use that. I mainly use the mouse for when I'm at home.
