I'm thinking about buying this television - the specs look good for the price. Anyone have any experience with this television, or have some thoughts on LCD in general?

Any feedback is appreciated.

You may want to also look at the 32" Daytek at Costco $1199 discussed here (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195730&highlight=daytek)

Check out the Costco's $1249 ViewSonic 3250w in the Hot Deals forum. The specs are better, the brand is better and Costco has a nice return policy.

I've had the ViewSonic n2750w and I'm quite saytisfied... The colour on these LCD's is not quite as good as CRT or Plasma, the blacks are not really black and the most bothersome is that grey is slightly green (vs. most blue tint). If you're thinking about a 10 year purchase... don't buy it. I'd say these are fairly nice for 3 years... thinking about a 5-7 year life span. There's lotsa of issues with the new 'flat screens' but nothing is perfect.

I sat watching a regular CRT TV for years, finally got tired of the pinkish display as the colour started to go.. and I needed a new monitor too... it was a natural.
