Just had to post about my new car and the wonderful service.
I was looking for a new car.
Not sure what to buy.
Heard so many good things about the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart.
Went to their showroom "Cooksville Mitsubishi"
Sales guy, Dan Howarth, not the usual car salesman.
Amazing,no pressure, boy oh boy,how could i not buy this car.
Had it 3 days,so much fun.
I have owned a lot of cars, this is a pleasure to drive.
Seriousily,if you are thinking about another car ,see Dan,the Royal treatment.
If you also own one of these please let me know if you are/where excited as i am.
P.S. I am not related to anybody, just a regular buyer.

I actually work at a Mitsu dealership as an apprentice. Markham Mitsu to be exact. Ralliarts is one of the best sedans i seen/driven/PRICE. From my experience...the Lancer and Lancer Ralliarts have almost no problems at all besides regular check ups. The Ralliart is fast if you know how to drive stick shift. We got packages that make them even faster such as a manaflow catback system and cold air intake systems. Even better we have evo spoilers that make the ralliart look like the exact evo besides the headlights.

not yet apparently... but they'll still be around, albeit not doing as well as Subaru

for bang for buck the mazda3 is still better value than the ralliart. THe interior of the mitsu still looks like econobox circa 1993. Yes it is a fast car with 160 hp and tons of torque, but the mazda 3 gt is faster as is the subaru imprezza and you get more standard features for the same price.

How do you like the gearing?
redpattison
Nov 30th, 2005, 01:18 PM
How do i like the gearing?(5 speed manual)
Nice,close and fast,very snappy.I can double de-clutch with ease.
I had a Jaguar "mark 2" many years ago in England and it seems very similiar to the Jag.
Basically,i love the car all round.
Do you have one and what do you think about the gearing?

Heard EVO 10 is supposed to come to Canada
They've been saying the Evo's coming since the 8! Every year the dealers say that they "hear" the Evo's coming, but there's some safety regulations that's preventing it from selling here. Two years later, still no Evo...
Although I did see an actual black Evo VIII parked up in Markham, so exciting, it's the only Evo VIII I've seen besides the one at the 2004 auto show though. I wonder how much it costed that guy to import it from the States?...

grats on your new ride, hope u enjoy it for the rest of your ownership ^^
As for the evo.....
9 is out of the question as its in production already with no changes.... ( i mean it.. its the same fricken car this year for places that have it ). Only thing that's changed a lil is the headlamps.
10 is undergoing a big change apparently and i think mitsu announced that they will be complying with our strict bumper policy. Lets hope we see one ready fo Canadian show rooms next year. Somebody's gotta dethrone the STi right now up here

No, I don't have one... just wondering they put the EVO gearing in there. Great gearing is a wonderful thing!
Everybody's concept of ideal gearing is different though. Glad you are enjoying your new ride. :cheesygri

Personally,i liked it.sharp looking.
I`m still very happy with my car.
Dan the Sales guy is coming to my workplace(To take to the shop) to install the snows and a few other extras. Can you beat that.

Hi everyone, i'am thinking of getting a 06 lancer ralliart. I got a 2002 acura rsx premium at the moment and i went to the mistubishi dealership the other day drove the ralliart (really like it), and after the number crunching im gonna have to spend about 9 grand cash (difference b/w trade and new car).
Im just a bit hesitant becasue i dont know how good the service is, and is the 5 year really bumber to bumber (no hidden words). I really dont like the interior if i got it iam prob gonna get a carbon fibre dash kit for it, and try to get new backlights, for the dash, casue they seemed very dimm. Also does anyone know how good the brampton dealship is for servicing, like posted above you said the one on missassuga is really good, do u think its worth the drive there to buy the car? And do you think that mistubishi might go bankrut, and there goes my 5 year warentee? Let me know you thoughts.
Thanks for reading, ElectricEclipse

In addition to the info you get there, maybe the Canadian constituents at Mitsu boards like www.evolutionm.net or other Mitsu car forums can help you out with finding a good dealer.

ElectricEclipse.
Sorry can not help you as i have not used any other dealer.
So far any extra questions i have had about the car or a few extra add on bolt on goodies have been dealt with very promptly.Mostly no charge.
The Sales bloke even came to my workplace to pick up the car to install the snow tyres.I picked the car up on the way home from work.
Is that service.Dan even dropped off my snows at work,so that the inside of my car would not get dirty.Plus i was going to the motorbike show and did not want to leave them in the car for all to see.
When i have been waiting for the Car Bloke,Dan Howarth,i have been listening to people coming in for service.
Never heard a complaint.
Seems good to me.Lots of friendly service.
Had the car now for 2 weeks.Goes great, love it.
Double check the warrenty.I believe it is 10 years on certain items, bumper to bumper.Plus 0% interest.

I don't care what anoyone else says, that looks sic.
I don't see a civic anywhere there, it looks like a progressive evolution from the current lancer.

That lancer concept is the most hideous thing i have ever seen.
The car to watch right now is the acura csx. It is based on the jdm civic, which already has a mugen kit available for it. It is known as the "civic dominator", and it sports a super-charged k20a engine. Plus it has amazing looks.

Anyone tested the new Fusion?
Not bad for a Taurus replacement. I think Ford is going to make it, and GM is goign to break.

Congrats, nice car, and that that concept looks great, definitely mean looking!
If everyone drove an Acura or Honda we'd live in a pretty bland world and Mitshubishi definitely has a strong product not to mention backed by the 5 year bumper to bumper and 10 year powertrain and 0% Financing. I'll take that over a Honda or Acura anyday.
