http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0926INGFS10067143&catid=20391

Infonec is selling for $69.00
http://www.infonec.com/site/main.php?module=detail&id=11853

Difference is $30.99
10% of $30.99 = $3.10

PM Price $65.90
after tax = $75.79

I know this works because I bought one a week ago. It is an excellent keyboard, there is a backlight behind the keys so you can see in the dark. It also comes with an LCD screen that displays computer information and game information.

Well worth it for the price.

Dang Homie! Thats a nice Deal! I wish the keyboard was wireless though...
I am totally picking this up! USB hub too! 2 ports from what I can see! Always need more usb ports, especially on the keyboard! This paired with a MX1000 would be a nice setup. Would you peoples agree?

haha I don't see how that is usable... Looking down at the keyboard? It's harder for me to look at it and use it then just staring at my screen.

Keys are useful you can make each one do multiple things, like target group member 1 and cast heal, or make buy scripts for counter-strike. I find it very useful. Even if you dont use the programmable keys, its a very nice keyboard to type on and the lcd tells me when I have e-mail, even when im in a game.

Worth the money for me, if you dont play alot of games you might not want it, but I LOVE IT!

Thanks, I picked one up at Future Shop using this PM. I've been looking at this for a while, and this is the best price I've found.

It's not wireless because wireless keyboards tend to lag in gaming ... so i've heard.

Anyone know where the "SAITEK ECLIPSE KEYBOARD" can be found? The only place I can find it is NCIX and its $70(!).

thx4dapost...

the deal is pretty nice indeed but it appears to be for local ONs only...

online price is higher and ppl outside of ON trying to PM this is might get that s/h charge tacked on for PMing, which wouldn't make it such a good deal anymore...

update to some title like "ON onliy"... thx. :)

Memory Express and Dangeo have this keyboard for around $75 for those not in Ontario.

For those that have the keyboard (like myself), a couple of sites to bookmark are:

http://www.g15mods.com/
http://www.g15forums.com/

You will be able to get mods for the LCD screen there when they become more available.

Damn. If this was an ergonomic keyboard, I'd be all over it. Since I work on mine all day, my wrists can't go back to a straight keyboard.

Compusmart sells this. I think the price is almost the same. FS had a sale of this kb a few months ago for $50. I should of picked one up back then.

Or there's NCIX for $71.99, with $5.99 shipping at the moment:

hmmm do FS pm NCIX?

if its local, FS will definitely PM NCIX.... ( or i shoud say "should" )

but if ur outside BC, i would think the chances are a bit lower since they could tack in s/h charges that NCIX adds onto.

I've tried to PM both BB and FS to NCIX, neither budged. I even offered a literal price match, nada. Might work with some managers though.

Guess I'll be dropping by my local Best Buy to pricematch Infonec; I've been waiting for this keyboard for months as well. Thanks. :)

Ditto, one of the managers said he wont pricematch it because its "greymarket" i gave him the ya right look and left. I'll just pick it up tomorrow at infonec.

I brought a printout of the price at infonec. I didnt talk to the manager, just one of the regular CSR's. I guess its the luck of the draw. I live in Mississauga so both stores are near each other, might have something to do with it too.

Compusmart sells it for $120, so there is Price Match opportunity there.

http://www.compusmart.com/Product/Default.aspx?SupplierPartNo=112112

But Compusmart will only match BestBuy and no idea if they will match others... better off to just get it from BestBuy if that is the case IMO

I can promise you that Futureshop has NOT had a sale on this keyboard and in fact have not ever had it in stock until last week or so.

There was a 2 month backlog on these from the time of release and even Memory Express and NCIX did not have much stock (Memex had 3 in calgary whe n they first came out)

in fact it's only been a few weeks that they have been in wide supply (I got mine a month ago after waiting on 3 different pre-order lists)

I just got the G15. It's pretty cool. I haven't used any of the macro keys yet but the LCD is pretty nifty. One of the built in functions allow you to view CPU and RAM usage (FYI - According to the G15, BF2 - Wake Island - only uses 85% of 1 Gig, in game). If you use the program FRAPS, it'll show you the fps, in game.

The LCD also works works with iTunes and Winamp to display the song title, time, etc. I think you may be able to control it via the lcd buttons but never tried.

One thing you should keep in mind is that the keyboard is rather large.

Did a PM the other day at Futureshop for this keyboard. I just showed the cashier the Infonec printout and everything was all good. No manager approval needed. Thanks OP! Sometimes, just sometimes, Futureshop comes through without the hassles.

This Keyboard is a beauty!
