Is me and my fiances fifth anniversary this weekend, and like every guy, left it to the last minute. Anyone have any idea what I should do? I would be willing to drive up 3 hrs in any directions from london...any good shows or events nearby?

Why are you asking a forum of strangers what you should do?
After five years, shouldn't you know your gf well enough to know what she would be interested in doing?
But since you asked: Take her to a remote cottage setting along a nice quiet lake for the weekend.

Depends upon the gal. Mine would be happy with dinner at a Nice restaurant.
But @ 5yrs, have you popped the question? Its getting to be time....

true say, but i think he's out of ideas, perhaps, he wants some feedback to get him thinking.

trust me...from a girl who will be celebrating her 4 yr anniversary in a month, there are plenty of things to do that you haven't done yet. try to remember if there has been anything she's mentioned throughout the years that she'd like to do but you guys haven't gotten a chance to do yet. and no one said repeating ideas was a bad thing, as long as you make it memorable!

Create a scavenger hunt for her.
She can go across town making stops collecting clues. Maybe at some of your favourite haunts. I have found people are usually pretty cooperative and actually get a kick out of this type of thing. When she opens the envelope she will receive a different gift along with directions to her next clue. Last clue will lead her to you.
Feel free to insert cheezies morsels of affection for extra points... and maybe extra sumfin else
(in my best Fresh Prince voice) if ya know what i mean.
