they posted the chat conversation. is that legal? seems like some pretty crucial evidence.. how the heck would the media even get that? i always wondered.. do they go up to the cops and say "hey. can i see taht cell phone?"
"sure.. but watch out for that blood!"

The mother was very messed up, too.

"She also recounted a number of incidents involving her mother, including driving while drunk with the kids in the car, threatening to plunge the car off a bridge and her habit of masturbating naked in plain view of the children while intoxicated."

Some people really should not be allowed to be parents.

They actually did a good job
The mother's drowning death was initially ruled accidental. It was only after the family friend came forward with allegations the older sister confessed the crime to him that police reopened the case.
The only reason they are idiots is because of their big mouths.

They used a method of communication where they can easily be logged and tracked. Smart.

Yeah I love (read hate) the fact we live in a country that tolerates and provokes abherant behaviour... like child crimes... and sex crimes... i would love a less tolerant legal system and the ability to execute "special groups of useless people"...

Not the most PC way of putting it but yeah..I pretty much agree. Mother/kids clearly weren't/aren't going to contribute to society so at least this one specific bloodline ends here.

Are you serious? They suck at it.
1. They let their friends know about it....who doesn't need to know.
2. SMS and e-mails...that's just dumb.
3. Getting boyfriend involve was just stupid as well. At 16/17, no boy would love you forever. He would probably just blackmail the two girls for money later on.

As I said in my last post, their mess-up was telling people about it. But when the police found the body they ruled it as accidental.
