I currently have a queen size mattress and it's awfully uncomfortable. I got it from my housemate. Its quality anything but below average; by sleeping on it I can feel the springs. I've slept on it for the past year and half now but I've been losing sleep over it lately (that's why I"m up so early typing up this thread). So I'm considering to get a mattress pad from IKEA (one of the better ones) I don't want to spend $$ on another new mattress. (a student on tie budget). Anyways, how are IKEA's mattress pads? Any suggestion?
Thx,

Considering that the quality of Ikea stuff ranks pretty low in my book I wouldn't buy it. The only reason I am responding is that I do have a mattress pad from Land's End that I purchased almost a decade ago. It's not so hot either so whatever you do make sure to purchase the best one that you can afford.
Consider me an object lesson! :(

i've never looked into them so i have no idea about cost, but i've seen the memory foam pads mentioned again and again as being awesome. I know costco has 'em
