Don't know what the exact name of this kind of device but a telephone recorder that record phone conversation.
Willing to pay 30 dollar max... doesn't have to be online store but interesting in getting such a device.
ALso what is the name of such a device.

You can use this microphone with any recording device. I've used them before.

a mic and recorder together would be more preferred. In one device....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it ILLEGAL to tape a telephone conversation without the consent of the recorded party UNLESS its a tape that will be used in court?
Thats why some companies have that recorded voice saying you may be taped.

Its also illegal to download music, speed in your car, what else....hmmm...

All right. Consider yourself corrected.
In canada, it is perfectly legal to record a phone conversation as long as one of the parties in the conversation consents to it. The reasons for doing the recording are completely immaterial.
And, for what it's worth, even if it were completely illegal, it would not be automatically considered inadmissable in a court. Ultimately, a judge can rule that a piece of evidence can be used even if it was illegally obtained. But I digress.
