Hi all ..... HELP!
My hubby is amazingly difficult to buy for! I know this year he is VERY interested in the Mvix (MV-5000U) Multimedia center. I didn't realize the price that was on this page was a "special pre-order price" and now it shows a price of $249 USD (plus shipping, plus Customs fees, broker fees etc).

I really would like to buy one before the end of November, and probably from within Canada to save on customs & duty fees. If anyone should happen to spot these at Canadian electronics online stores (or at any store) at a price under what I wrote above, I'd greatly appreciate a link or a quick message about it.
It could be that the US retail release date Was Nov 10th, so maybe this is why I can't find them (???)
I have looked at other brands, but have found that most cheaper ones require a laptop HD (not a standard PC drive) OR it requires special cables which run between the player and the TV - this one takes a HD and doesn't require special cables.
So anyway, I know this is the one he REALLY wants and I REALLY need help finding a good deal on one!
