well, its that $40/10 pk verbatim DL's, right?

don't 4get its only the $40 price for ppl in BC; the rest have to pay $$$ s/h $$$. so thus that deal isn't for every1.

however, consider that a deal when there's flat rate s/h when u make a large order ;)

Blankmedia.ca also has the Verbatim for $40/10pk for those interested in Ont. I usually do pickup so no idea of what shipping charges might be though...

Yes it is if you have Rotten Ronalds Best Buy bucks.

(it reduces the price per 3 pak to only $2.67/each - that and free shipping blows the NCIX deal out of the water - that is assuming comparable media quality).

I've ordered form blankmedia.com several times - shipping is only $6-8 to Toronto. Really fast service. Nothing but good things from these guys. Check them out. They have lots of hard-to-find media for cheap. Especially inkjet printable, which I prefer to order for my new epson r200.

Media Code quality:
http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia.php?dvdmediasearch=&dvdmediadvdridsearch=RICOHJPND00&type=6&size=All&dvdburnspeed=All&order=Name&hits=25&country=&search=Search+or+List+Media

I need few DL, but I think I will go with Verbatim at Blankmedia to be sure. I need few DVD cases anyway.

aren't the fuji dl layer discs, ritek discs, which aren't very good?

maybe it would be a better deal if it were verbatim's that were on sale? I've heard verbatim's are the only DL's that give successful consistant burns?

That's not wrong, but given other things to consider, one might decide to go with Ritek instead of Verbatim. Such considerations might be because of the price, unavaliability of the product, etc. Many Futureshops had the 25-packs of Memorex, which are also Riteks, on clearance for $1.10 a piece. Given the price, in this situation, one might decide to not buy Verbatims.

Fuji disks are RICOHJPND00 disks, which are also made by Ritek, but they are a little better than Ritek DVD+RDL media.

I believe that Ricoh and Ritek are different, no? Last time I checked their DVDs are manufacturered by different establishments.

Well, Ricoh outsources their media production to Ritek, using their dyes, technology, and expertise. All Ricoh media, excluding some RICOHJPN R02 and engineering samples made in Japan, is produced in Ritek factories in Taiwan.

MBIL also makes a smaller amount of RICOHJPN R02 (8X) discs for Ricoh.

well i dunno how u guys do the math.. but.....
even without free shipping from best buy

fuji = 9.99/3disc = 3.33 per disc ( and i believe the price is 8.99 now..so $3/disc)

verbatim = 40dollars for 10 disc = 4 dollar per disc...

if u are talking about the quality.. ritek is not bad either
