I am looking for a reasonably priced LCD for work and gaming. I would like a 17in LCD, 2 15in, or some thing larger if it is worth it.

For work things like word processing. For gaming first person shooters, role playing, pretty much all of them. I also do some video editing but nothing to qualify buying a professional monitor.

I have read several documents / web sites that explain the difference between LCD and CRT. To be honest to understand it I need real world experience, which I do not have in LCDs. The response time has me baffled so does the contrast ratio so does the brightness and so on...

Any comments, suggestions, or things to look for would be appreciated.
Thanks,
:D
