Palm T|X.... When will it be available in Canada?

I guess there are not many Palm user left in here after those Dell 10 day deals, but I would like to know if anyone has connection with Palm Canada about the release day of the Tungsten TX.

My clie nx-73x has died and I am looking for a replacement. >:(

They've been here for a long time

I bought one from Canada Computers in a hurry one day but didn't open it.. Luckily, before I did, I did some research on it, and it appears to be missing some major features (voice recorder.. no mic, wtf were they thinking? no vibration, and lots of reports of spontaneous reboots, especially with their packaged mail client)

I still haven't decided on any single PDA yet, and I'm actually pretty disappointed that none of them can handle Flash and/or Java websites..

Anyhow, they are available at CC if you want them.. its also $50 cheaper than the link from CompuSmart above

Where did you read reports of re-boots?

I've been thinking of getting the TX since my Tungsten C doesn't support WPA encryption on wifi. Did you end up returning yours?

Reports of reboots on BrightHand (forum site, google it) and you can also check out pdaforums.com and pdastreet.. Yeah, I ended up returning mine.. Not that I think its a bad purchase, but I really think the lack of Microphone and Vibration is a serious no-no for a PDA.

I haven't decided on what to buy now.. Especially since the Axim X51v supposedly performs like crap

About freakin time Palm PDAs had built-in wifi.

Only major "backward" thinking that needs to be corrected is a user replaceable battery.
