So i've finally got my class 7N license  and thought that rather than burn 100 cds i should get a fm transmitter
right now im looking at
Griffin iTrip FM iPod Transmitter - Black (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10064061&catid=2)
iRiver AFT-100 Mobile FM Transmitter (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10061095&catid=)
Belkin TuneCast II FM Transmitter (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS10045056&catid=22854&atab=4&spviewed=&logon=&langid=EN#content)
i've read reviews and notice people saying the volumes too low. etc. im not gonna be blasting it so i dont thats gonna be a problem.
price isnt a problem since they are all $60 (any store thats cheaper?)
anyone with any of these products can you please help me out with opinions and suggestions

Monster iCarPlay Wireless FM Transmitter For iPod (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS10041185&catid=22560&logon=&langid=EN#) looks interesting and uses the dock port instead of the headphone jack but its too much :(

If you're using any player, do you really need it to be wireless? Any FM tuner will cost you at least 50$+tax, and more for those that gain power from your car. I recommend getting a 5$ tape adpater for reliability, clarity and cheapness :p.

I second that.... even if you're not turning it up you'll most likely find the sound to be very lacking.

i have the Griffin Itrip and its pretty good. One thing that i dont like about it ( probably for all fm transmitters) is the fact that depending on the day i cant find a good channel to broadcast on. But besdies that its pretty good for what it is for.
in terms of price. if your in toronto (downtown) you should check out North Star computers. Last time i went there they had a bunch of the black FM transmitter for clearence.

g'luck

Typical LEDSHOPPE item, it works, it's cheap, nothing more and nothing less. :)

I bought USB hub, bluetooth dongle and a flashlight from them, and they all give me the same impression, I dont think this would be any different.

Hey RSD
I've had the Belkin TuneCast II FM Transmitter for about a year now and it works great, you just have to find a radio frequency that isn't really strong, but theres 5 presets so its easy to set some and just change it if you need.
Sucks cause I don't really use mine anymore because I no longer get to drive to school :( so I rarely use it. If you're interested in a used one I can sell you mine, I have all the wires and everythings in prefect condition.

PM if you're interested
