Notebook that has issues with the F8 key, and of course, needs a fresh install of XP. So, I'm wondering if there is a way around the install without having to use the F8 key as the normal XP install requires it.
I don't have access to a USB keyboard, and haven't take the notebook's keyboard apart yet, so anyone have any ideas?

what do you need the f8 key for? when you boot off a cd it says "press any key to run setup"...

You might be able to make a streamlined cd that would do all that for you. Checkout autostreamer, it might have the option there.

just download "nlite" and make your xp cd into a unattended installation that will bypass the F8 and everything else
