My bro had the same problem. He actually shaved the beard off for his g/f who said she prefered clean shaven men -- she is now his wife. Now he is back to the full beard and mustache. He shaves it over periodically to applease her.

Yeah its a tough one. I myself keep a short beard going, more of a winter look I like to keep. I say we need pictures, if its a raggedy beard best if it goes. Might do wonders for your carear as well as the love making. Or perhaps just keep the moustach for the love making :lol:

i went through a lazy period and didn't shave for 3 months and just shaved it all off a few days ago. I forgot what i looked like! Just shave it, it's only hair, it grows back.

Keep it neatly trimmed and short, but keep it. You should both try to agree on some kind of compromise. Perhaps shave the mustache, but keep the goatee (that's what I've done, my choice).

Ultimately, it's your face and choice. If she withholds favours, she loses out too.

man this reminds me, my goatee doesnt grow properly man. Its like the centre of my chin has far less hair than the two sides. Its weird and it pisses me off, I can never get a smooth goatee. Man I dont like the way I looked clean shaven.

you gotta let it grow out, then shave it, and keep doing this, it'll get fuller and thicker as time goes on. I used to have the problem where the hair on the sides of my lips wouldn't grow in fully. I just kept on groing it as best i could, and evantually it just started filling in.

Women are insatiable. She's asking u to shave the goat now. If you give in, next, she'll ask you to shave the pubies because "it pokes her face". If you give in again, next she'll ask you to shave your legs because "it pokes her legs".

The whole thing about being a "rugged, ... real man" is not whether you have facial hair or not. Because just "looking like" a man doesn't mean you are a man (ie. many woman look like man). But being a man means you have to act like one and stand up to her demands.

Women want sex just as badly as men does. So, don't take her threat for real. Cut her off for 3 months and see how she feels.
