Unless you know some one in the states where it can be shipped to.There is no way you can buy from dell.com.

You can ship it to Shopthestates.com or thelettercarrier.com and have it forwarded to you. You'll need the billing address of the CC to match the shipping address.

wow...that's an amazing business these guys decided to capitalize on.

I'd be shipping to the US then having these people re-direct to US in Canada would be cheaper than choosing the "worldwide" option time and time again.

Anyone tried these services? I'd be kinda skeptical having my brand new $2500 laptop being forwarded to me....

WELL...if you're buying a 2500 laptop from the states...I'm assuming you're saving over 1000CAD. Why?

because more than likely your warrantee won't even carry over to Canada..so you're banking on it never failing.

If you're buying from paypal isn't it all insured? In which case...why'd you care about a forwarder? Nonetheless...valid concern., and I'm sure they have some form of insurance.....but I see things getting sketchy....who's to say it was damaged "before" they received it or after hehehe.

Still I think it's awesome!

Dell warranties are full trasferable to Canada from the US, pretty much to any country that dell deals from.

But whatever the item is give Dell Canada a call, just because its not listed on the Website doesn't mean they don't have it. After all, all the orders are shipped from the states anyway.

I have used ShopTheStates.com twice already and have been extremely impressed with their service. Now all my friends have signed up and capitalized on the $300 USD Canon SD550 camera.

Just remember to call your credit card company and have them add the ShopTheStates address given to you to your card.

I've used The Letter Carrier in Point Roberts a dozen times or so, never any problems.
