Embarrassing caught in the acts at work!!

Ok... Something pretty embarrassing happened to me at work a few moments ago. My nose has been bothering me all morning, and I've been very busy not being able to move from my desk. I have no tissue at my desk, and my co worker just caught me pulling a crusted up piece of mucus (better known as BOOGER) out of my noise. He hasn't said anything yet, I don't think he will just to avoid the aquard work moment.

Just thought I'd share, and look to see if anyone else has any embarrassing caught in the act moments they would like to share

Maybe not in the same league as yours, but years ago, I was caught sleeping at my post by the CEO's brother and his wife. It was the night shift, winter, and they didn't heat the server room. To stop myself from shivering, I had to squat on my task chair, with my sweater over my knees, and my arms in my sweater. I somehow fell asleep in that position. Anyway, I woke up to the noise made by the wife's heels as they walked in. I couldn't tell if he was shocked, or was just trying hard to hold back his laughter... but his wife had a "Awww, poor baby" expression of her face. I was freaking out though, frantically trying to find the holes in my sweater to get my arms out. Before I said anything, he suggested I get my jacket if it's too cold (durrrrrrr, gooood idear, eh!). We all had a cheap laugh (me, nervous), he asked a few work related questions (me, with still one arm in my sweater), and they left after. I was 18, and a wee bit self conscious then, so I just wanted to crawl back into my sweater and die. :lol:

I was moved to the graveyard shift 3 weeks later (could've been unrelated).

I did graveyard and the CEO himself caught me sleeping a few times when he'd come to work in the morning. Nothing really needed to be said since it wasn't peculiar for me to work 6 days a week, and he understands better than anyone when it came to self inflicted sleep deprivation. PASSED OUT ON MY DESK SNORING, YO!

Fun times.

Cheer up, don't feel bad. I scored the job through co-op from highschool, and it was just a network monitoring position (8 and sometimes 12 hr shifts). The NOC was in the server room... which was awesome in the summer, but sucked in winter.

I guess I have it made - at my part time job I get told to sleep during my shift by the bosses if I have nothing to do

somebody was caught sleeping way too many times and he was soon fired.
Lesson of the story: do not tell *everybody* how late you stay up til playing sports or attending concerts.

Got caught reading a newspaper 15 minutes past the break-twice,
Got caught talking on the cellphone and answered a call at the manager's presence, claiming it was important,
Got caught staring at passing airplanes/traffic/funeral/day dreaming a bunch of times,
Kept listening to trance music throughout the shifts,
and yet, never got fired:)
