woozy
Oct 23rd, 2005, 04:45 AM
I'm being a pilot for halloween. I've visited value village and found a shirt and tie.
Now I need to find a pilot's hat, aviation pins, and shoulder badges. Does anyone know which stores I can probably visit in greater vancouver to get these?
Thanks

Professional uniforms are not likely Malibar costumes, visions of 911 and abuse of police powers come to mind.

Go to Pearson airport and sneak into the pilots lounge. Not only you'd get the uniform, you'd also get to talk to the flight attendants. SCORE! (somebody really liked Catch Me If You Can)

You can buy a plain flightsuit from any army surplus store. However, there won't be any badges on it so you will have to buy those and sew those on yourself as well. If you're wondering what the flight suits look like, look at my avatar.

I think *walking* by itself might present a problem, let along event attempting walking into a crowded place.
