Very clean, no scratches on the glass or casing. Each has the ability for dual input. Love them and used them on my system but selling them because I'm moving and where my computer desk is has no room so I'm going 19" LCD even though I hate LCD  Stupid viewing angles and I find the white too strong usually BUT my only choice for now....

I'll sell each for $150 or both monitors for $250. I'm going to be very firm on the price because the monitors are mint. No flaws, no strange geometry probs...

Its a model 1626 and looks like this http://westcomp.ru/pictures/21-dell-1626ht-l.jpg

I'd take a picture of them but my desk is really messy. If you want pictures, let me know so I can clean up :)

No prob about the pics.

My first one is right now on my desk - sorry about the pic but my basement doesnt have strong lighting and my camera was in auto so it came out kinda dark - also dont mind the scanline from the monitor - happens all the time when you try and take a picture of a screen... at least it does for me. The only problem this screen has is my friend once decided to be a smart ass and put a stupid round sticker on the side. I didnt notice it until the next morning and when I tried to take it off, it just broke apart and left sticker residue. I just left it like that.

The second one is being used as a testing monitor right now so its on the other side of my basement. I'm just testing a dual ppro motherboard which I'm also selling on the forums here.....

They are both really in great shape, but you'd have to see them in person. I'm in the east end of scarborough..sorta close to the zoo.

Oh and the monitor is not the perfectly flat kind, older trinitron style so some curve but not too bad.

Are these 7 years old or so

Yes.. well around 6.5 years old. They work great and also they have never been in for any kind of service. I usually try to keep dust out of then and about twice a year, I take a can of compressed air and sorta blow through the holes - not sure if that gets any dust out but so far its been good...I do this with the monitor off of course :)

I don't mean to bash you... but aren't you asking a little too much for a 7 year old monitor?

How can the monitors be in *mint* condition if, they have been used over a period of 6 yrs.. or less..??

Mint means they are not scratched up, dented..etc. They look pretty much like they did 6 years ago and they work pretty much the same. No loss of focus and such.

Also I dont feel its asking too much at all considering they are as I said, very clean monitors with a flawless screens. The fact that they are a pair of identical units makes it nice too for anyone who wants a set.

I am sorry, i am not trying to pick on you or trying to thread crap. But, i just clarifying

Your monitors are in *mint* condition EXTERNALLY.

But, not internally. Unless, u tell me that the usage of ur monitors was extremely minimal during the course of past 6 yrs.

Thats all.

Ok true, so we can say they are mint externally, but since the performance of the monitors are still pretty much like they were when they were new, I'm going to guess they are in good shape inside too. I dont abuse my CRTs but running refresh rates that are higher than what my eyes can detect and I dont run them past 45 to 50% in brightness. All that I believe has kept the monitors going very well.

I think the perfect resolution for me is 1280x960@70. I can detect no flicker at 70Hz so thats where I keep it. 60Hz I can see clearly...the flicker that is.

In any case, if someone does want a pair of monitors, they can come, take a look at them and judge for themselves with what they see.

Agreed.
Now you guys are giving me doubts on the monitor.. -_-

I'll say these monitors aren't overpriced since Trinitron screens are amongst the best you can get, and no good CRT's have been made in the last 2-3 years anyway. $250 for a pin-sharp 3200x1200 desktop in great colour sounds pretty good!

Free bump for nice monitors - I already have the Dell 21" natural-flat ones, so I'm not interested. :)

I believe he stated his usage of the monitors etc..

I would guess, that they are in good condition.

Free bump because Trinitrons are great monitors, and because the seller has a ridiculous amount of patience.
