It was a good race today, way better than previous races.
Anyone see the part when Schumacher, Alonso and Kimi were trailing each other, gosh very exihilirating. OMG!!! Kimi's overtake at the last minute, that was amazing.

Again, good race after a long time.

PS, I might become a McLaren-Benz fan next year..... >:(
Also, a commentator said that Kimi might sign with Ferrari in 07.

yeah...i respect that type of racing...they do have good cars...but it's not better than F1.

And if you think nascar, or cascar, kart is better....oh dear god.

I agree, todays F1 race was awe inspiring and one of the better F1 races Ive seen in a while. I would be watching and feel like I was there because of the suspense.

Kimi is my hero :D

lol i agree completely

driving WRC in computer games is tough enuf already
in real world WRC, too many variables and nothing is controlled

even just listening to the instructions of a real codriver is tough

ill try to encode the clip and up it somewhere
i havent received my divx 6 keys in that freebie deal yet though
just never got it in both hotmail and yahoomail

alonso finished 4th in china GP last year
kimi finished 3rd
the way alonso has improved, he might do a lot better this year
just not sure how kimi is gonna do
but i think renault will work out some good strategy this year

he'll defintely try to do good, only down by 2 for constructors.
if they get in the points, thats all that matters (him and JPM)

Hey just wondering? How much do each event F1 make compare to Hockey? Just curious to know how much does Formula one make in a year or in one event. Can't find the site on the stats.

good question, well f1 has many, many sponsors, each team has about, you could say 5-6 sponsors. and then theres event sponsors, marlboro and vodafone. and the ticket prices, well for cdn gp is like $3xx for 3 days (practice/qualifying/race). But there's not as much races in F1 as games in hockey.

F1 is insanely popular, not as high up as soccer, but it's up there. Hundreds of millions of people watch each race, around the world. Although they only have 19 races during the year, that's about the same number of weeks that the NFL is playing.

They also make a killing from liscenced products (clothes, books, movies, etc), and the drivers get a lot from endorsements/advertising. The costs are really high (ie. the teams don't make any money), but the organization as a whole is pretty profitable.
