The reviews at FS and Circuit City say that it is a very good buy.
The price going down is another good thing.
How is the FM tuner on this ?
For some of those interested, I read in some reviews that the voice recording function is a little low on marks.

I did some research.. AFTER I bought it..anyhow.. it's still un-open.

The reviews are good for this player overall.
The FM reception is good, battery life does last for 15 hours (at least for the battery that comes with it according to a review).

If someone have this model, could you tell me how long you can record for?
I under stand it will record in WAVE format at (32kb or 64kb).. but I don't know how much recording time that translates to with 512MB capacity.

The one that is on sale is 512mb, I use it as portal storage as well. The control for mp3 is ok, for radio is a bit complicated. I guess I have to read the manual :evil:

Yeah believe it.....and its 128 Mb :D
I convert it into 64kbps WMA and the sound quality improves 4-fold.
With HQ it will give 3 hrs...if u prefer.

At tht time...128 was G.O.O.D. Panasonic somehow has stopped making mp3 players. They just can't compete.

yeah, ... last time i went to FS/BB i didn't see ANY Panasonic-branded mp3 players...but i went Sears/Bay and they did (must've been old stock) but they only carried the 128/256 versions..... nothing higher.
and its been there for at least a yr... so i figured that Pana stopped making mp3 players..

sad, ... wish Pana continued to make mp3 players, ... i like their electronics... :(... prbly would've bought 1 if quality was good.

i think hes referring to the ipod shuffle, which i suppose could be comparable to this since thier both flash mp3 players and thier roughly the same size even though this one has more features, better battery life, a fm tuner for a better price...`
