Sort of like this, as long as it
a Connects via USB
b Isnt too cheap feeling/looking like an old nintendo controller.
c Reasonably responsive, not like the Microsoft sidewinder.
Under 20 bucks. :)

My method can cost you about $15-$105. Buy a PS2 to USB adaptor at Radio Shack aka The Source now. It should cost $15. If you need to, buy a PS2 controller. That should cost about $30 now. If you want a joystick, buy one for PS2. I have the one that came with Tekken 5. That should cost $80.

It's a bit pricey but you won't regret it. :)
The adaptor is responsive and is the best gamepad I ever used. The PC gamepads are terrible IMO.

thanks for that tip, Ill definitely look into that. What about PS1 controllers? Would one work with the ps2 to usb adaptor?

i did the xbox to pc usb mod and it is easy and works, but the drivers might give you problems and may not work in all games.

99% they should work. I think my friend had a PS1 controller and the same adaptor as me and it worked.

the logitec dual action pad is a replica of the ps2 controller...

months ago there was a PM for it for 3 bucks....that was sweet.
