I'll be watching it from the tube. :( At least I won't be stuck with expensive beer at the stadium.

Skanji hooked me up w/ the tickets. We're gonna have a tailgating party. (maybe not) Are they even legal in Canada?

I've been to a few tailgating parties at Leafs games.
Does that answer your question? lol

But yeah, I am extremely excited, more than ever before! I now realize how much I truly missed hockey. It was pure pain and agony having no hockey last year. I'll be at the Toronto/Montreal game on Saturday.

I'll be watching it on tv.

As well I will be enjoying my new digital cable with NHL center ice.

Made me pretty happy yesterday when I noticed that the hockey chanels had turned on, all 11 of them. :)

I totally agree. It was weird. When hockey was gone for a season, I didn't even miss it that much. I was pissed at the owners and players, so I was pretty apathetic about it all. But now with all the player movement over the summer, it has fired up my interest again, new rules not withstanding. :D

I couldn't help but grimace any time I saw the "Movie night in Canada" stuff on CBC though.

Kind of like watching your ex-girlfreind make out with some drunken bum she found on the street.

Trashmouth or Skanji

I just got 2 tickets for the home opener off Ebay from some dude...he sent me 2 electronic tickets via PDF fille and i have printed them out and am ready to go

The only problem is the tickets show the name of the guy who purchased them and not my name, u think it's gonna be a problem at the gates ?

Should i print out a Paypal receipt to show the ushers just in case ?

Again i''ve never done this (buying tickets off Ebay) so i just want to cover my bases

Thanks bros if you have any tips there or anyone else who have something to say

See you at the game!

What's the sellers feedback....I'm sure he has sold tickets this way before....It saves you the charge of paying to have the tickets shipped to you...As long as he doesn't print the tickets out himself and beat you to the rink you have nothing to worry about..

The seller has 19 positive feedback so far 100% positive

I've only been to 1 junior baseball game and am looking to attend more professional sporting events so i am not too familiar with the way it works

I assume you can get electronic tickets and print them out and bring them to the gates just like when you buy airplane tickets (this i'm more familiar with)

The only thing that concern me a bit is the name of the guy is still displayed on the tickets, i guess i'll have to tell the ushers that i bought the tickets from him

Just wanna make sure fellas...because the home opener is sold out so i had to resort to Ebay!!

It's all good fellas

The gate attendant scanned the barcode on the 2 e-tickets i presented and everything went thru smoothly

They don't check the name on the tickets and it makes sense since there is just way too many people coming in

Now this is another convenient way to obtain tickets fellas...i maybe able to sell some tickets this way too

Senators won the game 5-0 so it's all good in the end

All in all, a good night!

The Pizza was lovely. It was akward to be back and the crowd was really quiet (except for the goals).

I thought the crowd did their part trash

Maybe it was my first game there ever...

I see lots of hoots and hollers and cheers and everyone was in upbeat mood
