Taxi - too expensive if I have to take one up there and come back down.

Also was kinda hoping that someone going up there would point me in the right direction for some deals.

You can take the subway and bus or take the GO train/bus to Miliken.

i think it's best if you focus on a "purchase list" and ask for advice on finding the most reliable sellers. that way you won't waste a whole afternoon. pacific mall isn't the best place to find deals, although it's the largest of it kind. it's also a location that requires you to be thick-skinned and willing to haggle. you must also have cash on-hand to back up your purchases.

if you can sort things out on your end, you'll discover finding a ride is the least of your worries.

I seriously don't know what ppl are complaining about on driving to Pacific. It's the same as any mall on the weekend.. example Markville & Scarborough Town. I had more close calls at Markville then I've did at Pacific. Ppl in there SUVS having their accelerator floored or backing out without looking.

They did at a traffic light for ppl who want to turn left onto Steeles East.

how often do u drive by that place.. u must be lucky..spend no more then 20 minutes in front of any exit (trafic light or not) on at any "interesction" in the parking lot and lookat the wreckless drivers.... im amazed at the ignorance of drivers everywhere but PACMALL is nortorious with morons stopping in the MIDDLE of the road to let ppl on and off, blocking traffic...pulling over without indicatiing, then pulling back without LOOKING or indicating...driving thou intersections,stopsigns...pedestrians not looking where they're walking into traffic... its a zoo

perhaps its just the construction of the mall and its parking area..seems like the lanes are too small for the average driver.... vs parking signs/situations at markville/STC

the new traffic light does help, as many drivers were forced to be AGGRESSIVE inorder to enter/exit that point before, ...they need to build an island to prevent that from the other exit before the new mall across the street pops up

I live at Midland & Steeles (yes.. right next to timmies). You gotta be kidding me if u spend 20 minutes trying to exit pacific. USE the exits on Kennedy and go onto Dennison to go where u want to OR go through the side streets if your familiar with them. Here's another trick.. there's a exit a few seconds down (closer to market village) that exits onto Kennedy; usually no line up.

no no..dont spend ur 20 minutes trying to exit...spend 20minutes looking at the morons trying to drive and all the potential accidents by people with no clue for their surroundings..then u'll understand why people complain so much

i definitly avoid the intersection for that very reason..the kennedy one-way exits are what they need on steeles..

I live right across the street, I'd walk or tell my friends to just park across the street on the small street. it's very close and no hassles. getting out isn't that bad really. two exits to use, one by TD waterhouse and the other one by market both not at lights and right turn only.

If you need to go south or west, just make a u turn later. far easier than waiting for a left. As for weekends, i don't even bother trying to find parking and park across the street. much less hassle driving around and waiting for a spot.
