Is this an alright price on the notebook? It would have been $2637.00 if I configured it at Dell's website.

It's more than I wanted to spend, but I can always cancel it in the morning!

I sure hope I like the keyboard!

That price is pretty good considering the configuration. I bought a barebones 700m (1.6/40/256/XP/4&8Cell,1 Year) from Dell USA for $781US shipped. My hands are larger than average and I've accustomed to the keyboard. The screen is amazing...you'll love it!!! :D

sure is :)

the extended 8 Cell, 1GB Sodimm, dvd burner and free shipping makes it worthwhile. there's a lot of hurdles to get pull off the $750off coupon so this is very nice.

I was going to buy one from the states because they are cheaper there.
Then you have to factor in Shipping, Duty, Exchange, Hastle of a money order, and trusting someone you hardly know off a forum to send it to you.

I was really only wanting a barebones one with more RAM(512mb). If don't like it or use it, I'll just sell.
