Ok, I have a Hard Drive with windows installed and such. I'm removing it from my computer, will I be able to access the info if I have an enclosure? how will I access this info?

Yes, install the harddrive in a harddrive enclosure and plug it to the USB port of your desktop/laptop.

If the drive is formatted using ntfs, you'll probably need a Win NT/2000/XP system to read and write data to the drive. Win98 doesn't recognize ntfs partitions. You may have to alter the permissions on the drive as well.

If you place the drive into an external enclosure, it will show up as another drive in Windows Explorer when connected to your laptop.

just don't expect to use the Enclosure HD as primary HD (ie. boot your Windows on that external HD)
good luck!

just throw the drive in an enclosure, hook it up to the pc, and you're done. it will show up as another drive in Explorer.
