why not since tccd can get you low timings.

definitely..... AXPs are hungry for tight timings... awesome performance around 250fsb cas 2

Personally I'd try to pick up a used set of old BH-5 (balou911 was selling a set if i remember). You won't get much higher than 250FSB with that nforce2 systems. And since your motherboard supplies 3.3Vdimm, might as well take advantage of it. Might even try some UTT (OCZ GOLD VX), that is what I used with that motherboard and was stable @ 240 @ 2-2-2-11.

Im using the OCZ gold EL pc3200 2-2-2-5 1T right now and im having trouble getting over 210fsb with it at those timings. vdd is 1.7, mem is 2.8 (only goes to 2.9) and cpu is at 1.75 (can go to 2.2 but doesnt matter with this)

any suggestions?

NF7-s rev#2 with AXP-M 2500+

try using the timings 2-3-3-11 (no one uses 2-2-2-5 for NF2 because it's known to perform better with 11, go figure.)

vcore at 1.75? if temps are ok push it further :)

ok kool, I rather just fork out the extra money and get some nice ram, because im gonna upgrade to 64 later on in december. im not sure which one to go with.....

Corsair XMS TWINX1024-3200XL (512MB x 2)
or
Mushkin DDR400 222 Level II V2 (512MB x 2)
im not to sure about ocz i havent had good experience with them.

I just bought a AIW 9800 pro, I do alot of stuff in 3d, and photoshop & painter. and now that im working with bigger images, there's a nasty lagg when im brushing on the tablet. I was hoping the AIW would help the lagg, but its still lagging, So im probly just low on ram right?!!??!

by the time u upgrade to A64, u won't be using that 9800 anymore... unless you plan on buying a NF3 or that ULi chipset (AGP and PCI-e)

if you plan to overclock, get good low latency ram.... if not, value DDR400 would suffice

dude, you have BH-6 and your want to go to TCCD???? BH-6 is good ram, and very hard to find. What are you suppling for voltage? I am sure you could easily hit 250 2-2-2-11 with that stuff with ~3.3V. Definately not worth the money for TCCD.

ya , but 2x256 just doesnt seem enough. When im in photoshop, my memory usage is high.

when i upgrade im gonna probly gonna go 939 socket LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D with the x2 chip. im aware i gotta go pci-e.

You won't get a high FSB on NF2 with 2x512 no matter what chips you use

i'd say 250FSB is pretty high ;)

Thats about as high as they will go though. I've seen a few @ 260+ but with serious modding to the motherboard.
