NOTE TO ALL MODS : FTA IS FREE TO AIR SATALITE MEANING IT IS NOT ILLEGAL DO NOT LOCK.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey guys,

I recently bought a Free to Air reciever. Im trying to position my dish to the right point to get my FTA working. I can get BEV91 signal to 100% on my Bell Reciever but for my FTA one its always 26% health.

I can never find the right point.

I need some help in what satalites to find? Echostar?

Hmmm I installed a new switch and i still dont get anything.

Anyone got any ideas?

What the hell does this post have to do with computer and electronic deals? Go to a frigging satellite site to ask those kinds of questions.

Why? FTA is completely legal. Quit bickering. Look on the forum index.

Umm yeah? Is your last remark supposed to make me angry? Cause hacking dishnetwork is illegal and FTA is legal.

Why would you be pointing a dish at BEV91 other than to hack Bell?

What other channels are on that satellite other than Bell??

EDIT: And like cough said, http://www.lyngsat.com/america.html

Jesus people, he was obviously just testing his dish to see if it was working properly, and with his BEV Receiver, he confirmed that it was indeed working properly.

How else would try to solve this problem, if you only could get 26% signal strength from an FTA satellite? Would you blame it on the fact that there are clouds outside? Observation 1. Would you blame it on the fact that there is a tree in the way? Observation 2. Would you think it through that your FTA dish may be defective and wasn't properly aligned with the LNB to get a proper signal strength? Observation 3. He made it that far, you obviously didn't, stop accusing him.
