I've been trying to buy some contact lenses online. The big problem here is that I am missing the sphere number of my eyes. Other places charge or don't charge $15 for a fitting fee but they don't give you the numbers. They claim that it is now "their" information and cannot be disclosed. So essentially you cannot buy from somewhere else you MUST buy from them. A way of trapping you.
Do any of you'll know of places that give you the eye numbers for a cheap price or for free? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Personally, contact lenses are not something I'd ever buy online. If I'm going to put something in my eyes I want to know it's the right thing and not something off.

I guessed at mine. Are your eyes the same prescription? If so, just get one box of them and test. There were only two choices on the brand I use so it wasn't hard.
8.3 is the standard IIRC as many brands only have that size.

Maybe try clearlycontacts.ca? I am in need of some lenses but I don't want to be ripped off by the $15 'service' fee BS. I know the exact lenses I need, I just need the buy the boxes and thats it.

Go and ask for a trial pair at some place. The trial pair will have all the info on the box/package :)

8.6 Base Curve is the standard, and most contacts come with that measurement.

I've been purchasing contacts online for years and haven't had a problem yet. It remains cheaper than buying from an optomestrist, and it's the same product.
