I need to get some plexiglass, scrap pieces or otherwise, in Vancouver. I really don't have a clue where to look.

Thanks!

Thanks guys! I just called Speedy Auto Glass and they said they can cut and drill them for about $8 per square foot. I think I'll wander over to Home Depot first since it's near my workplace. :)

Don't go to home depot unless you want to waste your money. Go to a plastics place like http://fiber-tek.com

Yeah my brother bought some from home depot to do a case mod and it was pretty expensive for such a small piece.

you may be able to get it cheaper at a specialty plastics shop.

I can't find either plexiglass nor polycarbonate at that place

and what are you using the plexi for? It you are going to be cutting through it at all, i would use polycarbonate/lexan instead? It is about 40 times stronger than plexiglass/acrylic. Its more expensive yes, but its not going to crack if you have to drill it.

yep lexan is the way to go if your cutting it because acrylic will scratch and crack pretty easily.

I called them and they do have plexiglass. Something like $5 per square foot. I'm gonna be putting a window on one of my cases as my first mod. They said they will cut it and even drill holes if I need it. I'll ask about polycarbonate/lexan when I drop by. Thanks!
