It depends what the temp is of.

If the HDs are at 50C then its high, the video card then no.

If its your processor then its around the proper range with cooling.

What are you running ?

depends on the cpu.

my amd 3200 runs at 38 c normally
but my old athlon 2200+ runs at 50-60 c average.

My dual Opeterons are running at ~50c with the Zalman 7000b-alcu's. They were runnig at ~60c with the stock hsf. ~50c is ok for cpu temperature.

I'm running in the mid 40's when I'm playing games. I have a Zalman 7000 on my CPU though.

I personally consider 50C load is ok. Any instablity issue ? If not, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

nothing to be worried about at 50c... now hitting 65+ is worrying.

I would be worrying too, but still not the end of the world, my friend's computer wuz at 80+. I think he needs a better CPU HSF.

SMART is the most useless piece of cr*p you can get for hdd monitoring. it does NOT report back anything.

i don't know, i don't use any hdd monitoring, why would you? incase it fails? just backup regularly.
