Is the Famous Players promo for $9.95, any day and any time still running? I saw the sign for it at the Paramount Toronto last week, but bought an IMAX ticket and didn't ask.
Didn't see it on their website, figured I'd ask. :)

yup it's still going on, looks like Cineplex hasn't raised FP prices yet. Also, it looks like Empire Theatres has bought some of the Cineplex/FP locations (Elgin Mills, SilverCity North York at Empress Walk & Square One) and will be taking over starting Sept 30 (http://www.famousplayers.com/content/index.asp?ID=divestMsg)

They're comparable to Cineplex, and lower than AMC in my experience...not to say they're great, but it is what it is.

Haven't been to Famous in a bit, thought I'd ask again. :)
Bit frustrating that they don't list ticket prices per theatre anymore...

What is the Famous Players promot?
$9.95 seems to be high when you can buy the ticket from CAA for $7.50 (assuming you are CAA member or can get a CAA member to buy it for you).
EDIT: Opps! I did not notice this is a raised from the death thread.

Now that FP is owned by Cineplex, do they balk at the CAA tickets?

Cineplex also says it will work. And, we have people in RFD tried it.

Soo, coupon free and all...is it still $9.95 at Famous Players?
Edit: Deal is dead, paid $12 tonight to watch Jarhead.

Yup - $11.95 matinee at the Colossus for Chicken Little (and another buck, buck, buck for 3D...). So their afternoon prices have really rocketed up from before the one price policy.
Must be nice to be a monopoly!

More reason to buy those 'gift packs' or telus tickets now

They charge extra for 3D? That sucks...
I found it odd that before the $10 all-the-time promo was introduced, regular evening movies were $14 while IMAX was $13. It still baffles me that given the choice between IMAX and regular flicks, most people pass on the huge screen and sound...

That's cool! I didn't know CAA did discounts on movie tickets. Do I call them to deliver to my membership address or go over to their office in person?
