Would anyone have phone/fax numbers for the local Boucherville, Quebec RCMP (or whatever would be close), as we need to report a case of fraud by DVDSoon.com.
We had an account with them, and after them cancelling all of our orders and just putting a credit on our account (and not refunding) - that made us mad enough, but now they have deleted our account - so we paid for items, they kept our money, and now we cannot even "use" our credit (not that we want to anyway) since they deleted our account...................
The amount is $137.10 that they have stolen from us!
Any other ideas on what to do here??

Call your credit card company and tell them what happened and initiate a chargeback.

They cannot do anything because these are old charges (well over 30 days old) and when this stupid "company" decided to do some changes they cancelled everyone's orders and gave a store credit. I have already tried the Visa thing, but they cannot do anything!

Unfortunately, with those guys, this could be the easiest way to do

You know that is fine to say now, but we are asking for advice, not to be told "told you so" - that does not help.

Thanks but any "warnings" were a long time after we had dealings with them. We have dealt there for a long time with no problems until their so-called change-over, so I really had no problems until now...........................
End of discussion on why we dealt there..............we are asking for advice, like I said.
What do others do in these situations..............
is there a National Fraud Organization???

Yes, I know the situation I'm in the same boat but with less money. Call Visa again and tell them that they have charged your credit card but gave you credit but now closed your account. So basically you got nothing for your money.

Is your account closed as well???
Visa tells me they can do nothing when the charges are older than 30 days...................
