Hi,
I'm desperately jonesing for some 80's culture. I tried searching Google's newsgroups for like minded people, and granted I only stopped off at 3 or so groups, but it seems spam pervades there too!
Looking for a little piece of heaven where people can just chat and trade ;) in peace.
A few things that screams 80s for me:
G.I.Joe
Breakfast Club
Cheesy synth pop music

Everything in the 80s were ambiguously gay. :D
I just noticed how great the so-called "R&B" of the 80s were very synthisizer driven. Earth, Wind & Fire, Kool and the Gang, etc.
I'm listening to this 300 song set and most of the songs are recognizable, but their names are so alien. It's like "oh, I didn't know such and such sang that song..cool" :D
RADICAL!

Can't you just tune into "That 80's Show" or "That 70's Show?" Sigh... what ever happened to "Happy Days" and originality? :cheesygri
Huh? What? Oh, it's not on anymore? Nevermind... :|
