Watched the Premier tonight. It was OK-good.

Saw pilot, gotta say. Of all the new shows, this was what I was waiting for and I have to say, I'm not that impressed with it. Might stick around for another couple eps but I don't see it gaining a fan from me.

Mediocre pilot. They should have found a prettier lead actress, one who can act better too.

I just love the way they abruptly ended the one hour pilot, it looked a lot like there was little or no planning when they did this pilot episode.

I liked Threshold somewhat better but that is mostly because they were smart enough to have a 2hr premiere and not just randomly end it like Surface. I am just happy there is some new sci-fi on actual primetime tv - instead of burried in the corners of space channel. I will watch all 3 for a few weeks atleast and then decide what I like the least. I do think that Surface has the least intersting starting point - sea creature aliens?

This show is better than many such sci-fi series currently running because you can actually see what you are after and learn about it as the series progress. The others just have some fake effects and sounds with no aliens to watch... Just people blabbering all the time.. :lol:

i agree.. much better than threshold...i actually stop watching threshold cuz I got bored with it. It's almost the same thing every episode.. gotta stop someone with a copy of the alien signal from broadcasting it.... it got stale after 7-8 episode of the same damn thing.

The storyline and acting might be little weak at times for Surface but it's entertaining. Love how the producers/writers have used cliffhangers at the end of each episode.

Another good point is the pace...it doesnt drag.

Surface has turned out to be pretty decent. Only 2 episodes left and I am wishing there were more. I like that they added some conspiracy in - and that it has been going on for soooo long. Almost gave up on this one near the start but glad I didn't.

I'm starting to lose faith in this show... it's just starting to go down hill fast. I am way more interested in Invasion right now.

I am really interested in invasion as well but - I don't think surface has gone down hill - it has gotten much better. I do think they had to push the story forward more quickly than they wanted to - but it was moving way to slow. Mindless sea creatures doesn't do it for me - bring on the conspiracy, alien dna, fountain of youth, and creature to human connection.

woh last episode was great...damn have to check if it was the last episode this season...the "t_____" could be very interesting...also noticed that the producers dubbed "butt wipe" to "boat wipe"...that was quite funny =)


just checked...next week is season/or series finale...just not enough ratings.

I hate 2 parters for last show - hate waiting through the summer, hate if the show doesn't come back.
