I like when it snows but it causes the streets to go bad and the govt. doesnt clear snow in scarborough. Wonder why such special treatment ? anyway more serious concern is the increase of 'collisions'.

They have a huge crackdown on speeders because they're "concerned about the safety of their citizens". But they also reduced the budget for Toronto's snow removal by 3.7million this year.
I wonder what's safer, going 120kmh (in a 100zone) on a clear sunny day, or having millions of cars sliding around in snowed-in streets?
I hate hypocrits!

Must be nice :)
I guess it is true that the further west you go, the more $$$ housing costs and the further east you go, the less it costs...I remember chatting with someone who told me they purchased a 3 bedroom house in Nfld for under $100,000....

Man I'd hate to pay more than the $330,00 my brother just paid for a 1700 square foot plain city home.

Saskatchewan houseing is cheap, I used to live there, but the income tax and property taxes will kill you. I live in a house in Alberta thats $40,000 more than my old house in Saskatchewan, but because of property taxes and interest rates, my payments are $100/month less

OK, so maybe I won't go to BC. How's the weather in Halifax... and how much for an average-sized house?
