Nope, Telus uses the CDMA network (like Bell), so no Sim card.

it includes a $50 card activation kit, if you activate online you will get +$25 bonus = $75 total. so the phone comes to approximately -$15 dollars.

I don't see how it's $16 with $75 bonus airtime...I'm not spending $60 on a phone like that...$16 maybe...

The Audiovox 8300 offers crappy reception and voice quality compared to the K424c, T206, 3205, and other newer phones.
I have used the 8300 and at many times the phones would be searching for signals, the others had strong clear digital signals.
Check www.howardforums.com for reviews or Steve Punters site at www.arcx.com/sites. I worked with Steve to help him review the T206, 3205, K424 phones as those were my phones he reviewed.
that is why this phone comes to negative 15 dollars (with new p&t activation). you can always try your luck to sell it back on ebay for $10

Guess I made a mistake with the model numbers. The 8100 and 8150 was the models I had and they sucked. The 8300 has decent reception, but crappy audio. Here is Steve's Review: http://www.arcx.com/sites/Audiovox%20CDM-8300.htm
I guess for the price it is not bad. Keep in mind there is a $10 ESN swap fee with Telus every time you do a phone swap.
