I picked up the exact same paper for the same price at Future Shop -yet, on their site, it says $3.99.

http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS73345001&catid=14445&logon=&langid=EN

Too bad FS online is OOS -could have pm'd this!

Driving to FS to pm it could be disappointing because I'm pretty sure that it's still $1.49 instore, and since shipping is included it would be a waste of gas.

hey u know what, i remember seeing these copy paper for $1.50/pkg in the newspaper ads along w/ that $2 surge protector sale... so i guess every1 ordered and it went OOS...

btw, if that surge protector $2 deal is over, then i'm pretty sure that this $1.50 deal for the paper pkg is likely over as well....

so PM instore at FS to save that $0.25/pkg! u only pay $1.25!
(actually no, considering the high gas prices nowadays, it may not be worth ur time/effort/$/gas to drive to FS to save that $0.25x ("X" # of pkgs)... ... unless if u can walk there of course then that's a diff. story  )

Hey, thanks, man! This is a good deal, and we go through paper like crazy at our house; my son likes to roll it up into Star Wars light sabres, so we can always use more paper. :cheesygri I love the free delivery. I'm still waiting for my 2 packs to come in at The Source, that I bought last week. I'm glad I got in on a good deal this morning. Good start to the weekend, and, it makes your blood tingle a bit. Not as tingly as a 150% Staples PM, but oh well, tingly all the same. The beauty of this deal is that it's not electronics - so it doesn't break you, ha ha!

Yes, exactly when I got my paper! One ream and one surge protector... $3.96 after taxes :) I didn't really need the paper -I still have some free paper left over from exchanging my ink cartridges at Office Depot. But the price was right -and I was already there.

btw, if that surge protector $2 deal is over, then i'm pretty sure that this $1.50 deal for the paper pkg is likely over as well....

 I was seriously considering that option! I live close enough to FS, I could walk there :P But for those who live a little further... it'd be a waste of gas. ;) For me, it would be for the sake of PMing, and getting a good deal. I imagine my three little artists wouldn't mind all that paper either. Grab a roll of masking tape from Dollarama... repaper the whole place... removable murals, all around...

^ LOL... see ... there are ppl out there that can simply WALK to their FS to do their PMs...

and actually, not just that... i find it convenient if u can walk to ur FS and PM that thing that BB sells instead of having to go to BB 1/2 hr drive to get the same thing...

same goes for the ppl who have the reverse BB close, FS far away... ;)
sometimes its not so much as to save that $0.25 via PMing, but to save driving/gas/$/effort to go all to another store that's far far away... :D

Oh no ... 'expensive' light sabres ... hee hee .... When I was young, my brother and I rolled ours with newspaper first and only used white paper at the outmost layer. Reasons :1) newspaper is larger in size and they were virtually 'free' (well, I considered day-old newspapers had no value) so that we could just keep rolling one after another. 2) My mom hated our idea of newspaper so we wrapped them around with a layer of white paper to keep them 'clean'.

Ah, excellent idea, I'll tell him; thanks. :) He's even graduated to using 'cellophane' in a variety of colors as the final layer, to give it that cool shiny colored effect. {Previous to that, he was just using markers to color them, LOL.} You know, I think they've changed newspaper inks from what they used to be, as I remember as a kid, being coated in the ink when I was done reading. Or, maybe I was just a 'messy reader', heh heh.

Hee hee ... The very same idea also worked extremely well with the "double-piece" weapon thing using by Bruce Lee as well ! Somehow, my brother and I always managed to come up with these 'violent' ideas ... http://www.dolnetwork.com/RFD/smilies/tongue.gif ... We kept coming up with new 'versions' by 'improving' our rolling techniques ... It was fun ...

Just got back from FS and had no problems with the PM but it was only $.05 extra off each package. FS price dropped down to $1.98 a ream instead of reg price of $3.99. Ah well, at least I saved some you guys some gas for those of you that were going to PM it.

Cheers :D

I bought 500 sheets for 1.49 last week at The Source: Domtar 84 brightness.

http://www.thesourcecc.com/estore/Product.aspx?language=en-CA&catalog=Online&category=Multi-PurposePaper&product=2610800

Is it better than this 92 bright paper?

this is weird.

i ordered it, it stated:

APP 500 Sheet 8.5" x 11" Multipurpose Paper Not Yet Shippable 3 $0.00 $0.00
Shipment Method: CanadaPost Ground $3.99

Sub Total: $3.99

PST : $0.32
GST : $0.28
Total: $4.59

so will i be charged 4.59 in total? or the (1.49 x 3 + 3.99) 1.15% = 9.73 will be applied?

nvm. system error. they fixed it now. @#)*@$)@#$* and no shipping too.

I bought 500 sheets for 1.49 last week at The Source: Domtar 84 brightness.

Is it better than this 92 bright paper?

The numbers refer to the brightness of the paper or how white it has been bleached. A higher number refers to a whiter paper.

As for quality, it all depends on factors such as whether it is recycled paper, virgin, etc. Whether or not it comes from a particular store means absolutely nothing.
