Looks like a decent deal to me. Regular $1299

I think these Toshiba notebooks are always more expensive, not sure if they really worth their price.

You can probably PM at FS.

It's a Toshiba, which I guess makes up for those two things.

I believe that was a different model you're talking about. But PM it with stooples, and get a free 512 usb memory.... if stooples have them on stock... :)

The $899 one was the 256MB, 40GB HD, and the non-Brite screen.

I saw this one in FS. Looked real good.

Did u guys happen to read the features on this notebook? It says optical drive sold separately.....no wonder it's so cheap. :(

uh...it says in the features that it has a dvd burner...
Even if you go to toshiba.ca, they say there's a optical drive.
Don't get mislead by what BB or FS write...they miss stuff...

I bought this for grandparents...nice laptop especially with the TruBrite.
hdd is a little slow, but i'm just comparing it with 7200rpm
lol...

14.1" screen, 60 gb hdd, sempron @ 1.8ghz also @ BB
