Anyone done this or know anyone? Its one of the more demanding fields of work, quickly on the rise! How easy is it to find work overseas once you get your certification? I heard the experiences are unreal, so I think im going to take this course. Just curious about the jobs thats all, thanks!

I used to sell the course you're probably talking about. 5 day course, 1000 bucks.
After taking the course, it's very easy to find work overseas. Most of those places will provide you with detailed list of jobs in whatever county you're looking for. From what I've heard (and I've heard some horror stories too), it's a great experience. A good friend of mine's brother is in China teaching english right now and apparently is a big fan.
However, you don't need to take a course to get this type of work. Do your own research and save yourself a thousand bucks. As well, the countries that pay the most (ie. enough that you can actually bring something home), South Korea, Japan, UAE, are all going to require university degrees.
As well, only the above countries are going to pay your airfare (and they won't pay it until you finish your contract). I've also heard some horror stories about this particular point, where people get fired right before the end of their contracts and get stuck paying their own way back.
All in all, it's a good experience if you're young and looking to see the world, just make sure you do your research. If possible, speak with someone that's working at the school you're interested in (this is something those TESOL courses do help with).

You're joking right?
I did it for 2 years in japan, its a joke. A good job for young people just out of school since you can party quite a bit and don't have to work about doing poorly at work since most of the time all you have to do is talk. Also you don't really need any certification, most places just want to see any kind of university degree so they know you aren't a ******.
It was super easy and I had a good time, but it gets boring after a while. I'd recommend it since it is good experience, but it isn't rocket science.
