I MIGHT be looking to upgrade my current Athlon XP 1800 with GF4 Ti 4400 setup with a new Dual Core from AMD. I want to keep my video card, as I don't game much.

Does a mobo exist that would take a Athlon 64 X2 3800 with DDR ram (2x512) and can take my old ti4400?

Thanks,

RadMan

MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum.

I'm not really impressed with the VIA chipsets, I'd recommend you go with nvidia for the Athlon X2 setup.

The DFI NF3 Ultra-D will be a good one for overclocking, once they fix the resistor problem.

Nearly every 939 mobo will run the x2 chips. The board may need a bios flash.I picked up the a8v delux a few months ago.It may not be the latest and greatest but it is stable.

There is a dual agp pci-express motherboards to come out soon with ULI. Can be as bad as the ALI dual ddr and sdr motherboard were though.

I have the MSI K8N Neo2-F. It's an AGP board, and I believe it supports X2.

It's nearly the same as the platinum edition (same chipset: nForce3 ultra), but much cheaper! Good for those who are on a budget.

My DFI nForce3 Ultra-D is 939 and comes pre-flashed for X2 compatibility.. the X2 logo is designed right onto the front of the box.. (And its AGP)
