I'll be going to New-York next week-end, and thought I might pick up some blank dvd's.

Doe's anyone know where I could get a good deal on some TY's, and under what brand? Doe's fuji still sell MIJ dvd's in the US?

Hard to say...but I have noticed that in many cases Media is better priced in Canada.....
CD-r somewhat better in the US because of the special 'artist' tax...but if you r timely/lucky u might do just as well here..ie the latest deal at TheS..
50/$10
One benefit of the US..is the variety...not always avail here. esp CD-R

I would pick up either MIJ Sony DVD+R or MIJ TDK DVD-R or DVD+R, both of which are TY, depending on what's on sale.

Take a look at the CD Freaks Bargain Basement (http://club.cdfreaks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=58) and see what's on sale. :)
