Okay folks, Im gettin the upgradin bug again so this puppy has to move.
Here's what's for sale.
A P4 2.4C which has been running stable underai cooling and stock voltage for about 2 years at 3.2GHz. It'll do higher 3.3 stable but I had no ned to run it at those speeds.
Asus P4P-800 motherboard which supports dual channel ram and the obvious 800MHz front side bus.
2X256Mb sticks of PC-3200 ram
An Ati(or Sapphire not entirely sure) Radeon 9800 NON Pro, which can be flashed to the 9800 pro.
I am located in Chatham, Ontario but can also dela in London and Toronto if need be. I'll be in London for school and in Toronto often visiting friends and such.
I am looking for 400$---->350$ for this. This machine still plays all the latest games with no hitches but my buddy upgraded so I naturally need to one up him! :)
All you need to add to this is add a harddrive. The system is ockstable and I've had absolutely no problems with it. My Heatware is under Pughball.
PM me with ay reasonable offer. Also, feel free to offer anything if you need other parts(ie:harddrive/case/psu).

my natural question is : how did you get your 2.4C to OC to 3.2?
whats kind of ram do you have?
i couldnt get mine past 3.05 and then it was unstable with the same p4p800

Wel, I did my research and got the best stepping possible for the P4 2.4C atually(although this stepping has long ince been forgotten by me)! :) This is done 100% on air cooling, with simply a stock heatsink and a few fans ventilating my case(albeit, it is a case with very good airflow).
The ram is generic Samsung PC-3200 Ram, but once again ram modules were tasted out to ensure proper dual channel functionig. Completely error free on MemTest.
This system is rock stable, and is largely in part du to the chip itself, she's one of a kind I tell ya! :)

I registered just to reply to this
I did the same thing. I've had a 2.4C from Costa Rica SL6?? I can't remember the exact stepping but it's been running for 18 months with a 0.5V bump at 3.24Ghz w/ stock cooling. I run the FSB at 270 with 2x256MB OCZ PC4200 DIMMs. It was a sweet find and one reason I haven't had to upgrade in 18 months :cheesygri It took a TON of researching though. They're good chips.
You could prob run 1:1 then with some nice low latency PC4200 DIMMs as well.

I had a 2.4C as well. Did 3.3Ghz (277X12) with a Volcano 7+ on the slowest fan speed. I have since sold it.
Bump for one of the best OC's I've ever had.
