If your university didn't make this list, it's probably because it sucked.  just kidding.
hope this doesn't turn into a flame thread.

I don't know if it's just me but I think it's kind of pointless to post "polls" of "best" post-secondary education. It's going to lead to bashing at some point and really doesn't serve a purpose.
All universities and colleges have their strengths and weaknesses and doing a general poll will not reflect this.
I'm not bashing you but I just fail to see something constructive from this when there's are very similar previous topics related to this one.

Plus I would be willing to bet that a majority of users here are not qualified to compare them either. Look at some of the postings made - would you REALLY trust the opinions of some of us? :p

This will just be a useless poll since no one here attended every school in Canada. If you didn't go to any other schools, then you don't have a clue as to how your school compares with the rest. This is going to be another "my school is the best" thread. Did I mention that your choices are pretty limited?

Best for what?
I went to UW, WLU, York and Ryerson. York is by far the best based on a sample size of 4 courses.
Edit: I took all "business" courses at York.

I'm not gonna vote in this ******** poll. Different programs at different schools vary greatly in quality. Also, best in terms of academics, recruiting, spirit, campus, etc....what?

I don't know why you felt the need to vote three times. That's three times way too many in this dumb poll.
To the OP, fyi you can't compare colleges and universities, it doesn't work that way. Either go with one or the other. And you left out a lot of other Ontario universities in your poll. This poll is majorly flawed to say the least.

My buddy says York is the best because it has the hottest girls.

You're never going to get an accurate representation on here with this list.
A) People will vote for their own school 90% of the time. If not more.
B) Universities with more students (ie. UWO, UofT, Mac, etc) have statistically more people on this board, therefore, according to A) more votes.
Macleans magazine has a pretty good rating system...

chill out, guys/gals. this is a poll just for fun. it's just to see what school you think is the best. it doesn't matter if you're qualified or not or if you've ever been to the school. I've already figured that UFT would top the list, but it would be nice to know how the other schools rank.
this is just an opinion poll! if you want a more professional list, go to macclean's. as saddam hussein likes to say, 'reeelaaahx, guy'. :) ;) :D :cheesygri

I agree. Unless you've attended more than one university, you can't judge which is best
But I don't think it's all fanclub. I went to U of T and don't think it's so great.

The only important stats anyone should look at is
The employment rate for the graduates
What is the % of students who graduated found a job within their field of study.
I believe UW and Ryerson are highest(Don't quote me on this, I am not sure)
