Cleaning Oil Mister

Just wondering if anyone else had experience with their oil mister clogging up and how to clean them. I'm on my second one with the same results. I've tried hot soapy water, but they are no longer spraying right. Any help/experience would be appreciated. Thanks!

Sit it out in the backyard in the sun to get good and hot to melt whatever there is for goo in it, then try shooting hot soapy water through it.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. (as soon as it stops raining here!!!)

I tried degreaser, but that was harsh stuff, and it took many tries to get the smell out of the thing. It didn't even work that well.
