Color Laser Printer / Electricity Usage

Anyone run into electrical problems with the up to 4 digits Wattage it can use when fusing? espeically on res.

Just curious on how a res would cope with so much possible peak power. At home printer+lawn mower = nono

It all depends on your residence; how old the building is, what's the wiring like, what are other people running, etc.

All the lights dimmed in my room when my laser printer came out of sleep, but no fuses were blown (Vic Hall, QueensU).
